Stephanie Zinone Michelle Pfeiffer is the leader of Rydell High School's Pink Ladies, a gang of girls who are counterparts of the school's group of greasers called the T-Birds. My opinion isnt common, preferring this one to the original, therefore my advice to you is to forget the first movie when watching this one. Then there is Dolores, Paulettes little sister who isn't a Pink lady but a pink lady mascot, she looks about 12, mouthy and carries a skate board everywhere. It's 1961, two years after the original Grease gang graduated, and there's a new crop of seniors - and new members of the coolest cliques on campus, the Pink Ladies and T-Birds. And she's got on those huge dark glasses all the time making her look like early Debbie Harry. The Pink Ladies and the T-Birds go bowling at the local bowling alley. Hoping to win her over, Michael tries to overcome his nerdy ways while holding off the jealous Johnny.
As soon as Michael walks into the bowling alley, Stephanie kisses him on the lips. The music has changed since the first Grease as it was made in the decade of the 80's. There are 12 songs on the soundtrack and there isn't one that I really skip. Its early 80's rock that you are getting yourself into for the most part. She shines in 'Cool Rider'.
The coach is back but you only see him twice if that. However, unbeknownst to them, an unexpected change of plans will reunite the young dreamers at the bustling Rydell High for the new term, only this time, something has changed. Truly poor direction just adds to the general malaise. Michelle Pfhieffer was wonderful as an actress and singer. There is also a scene showing guys motorcycling through a subdivision that looks like 1985 Westland, Michigan, and another time--my favorite--when Michelle and someone are sitting out in what is obviously some municipal park, with a huge superhighway with massive 18-wheelers barreling by in the background. If you like bad, cheesy movies, they just don't get any better than this.
She falls for the unlikely nerdy substitute teacher, Mr Stewart, who teaches the immortal 'Reproduction' lesson. The whole cast was believable. While Grease took place in the late 1950s, Grease 2 is set in the early 1960s. His voice isn't the best thing in the world but he didn't sing that much anyway. Stephanie, on the other hand, is a slovenly, slack-jawed, bubble gum smacking, dirty sweatshirt wearing, gracelessly rude and trashy dingbat. Is he up to the task? As for the sets I don't think I've ever seen such low production values in a movie released by a major studio.
Like the pure Sandy had eyes for T-Bird, Danny, innocent Michael has it bad for Pink Lady Stephanie. The T-birds should be badass, and if not at least somewhat likable, but instead each of them is an annoying wussy-dufus-loser. For the sake of criticism, I will dignify the film now by explaining why it blows 1. Now, to make an impression and win the girl's heart, Michael needs to up his game; learn how to ride a motorcycle, and transform himself into Stephanie's hot leather-clad fantasy. My sister and I would watch it, rewind it, and watch it over again and again and again until we passed out or became too confused and hostile to stand one another. Michael Carrington is the new kid in school - but he's been branded a brainiac.
Most of the people really like to view comedy, horror, action, journey, or drama films. Can he fix up an old motorcycle, don a leather jacket, avoid a rumble with the leader of the T-Birds, and win the heart of Pink Lady Stephanie Zinone? This film has a lot of negative feedback as every one compares it to the Original Grease. Stephanie is tired of her relationship with top T-Bird Johnny Nogerelli Adrian Zmed , so she breaks up with him and quickly catches the eye of English exchange student Michael Carrington Maxwell Caulfield. Since Michael is beautiful, smart, kind, resourceful, and above average in everyway his musical impotence notwithstanding , it is feasible that Stephanie would ultimately embrace him when he reveals himself to be the man behind the mask.
Michael Carrington, a straight A student from England, transfers to Rydell High and is immediately put into the 'nerd' category and the T-Birds brand him 'Shakesphere'. . I really have to take my hat off. Description Return to rockin' Rydell High for a whole new term! He is smart, extremely uncool and very shy. You really should be required to see both to appreciate what a graceful, charming movie the first one is. Is a radical transformation the only way to win Danny back? If you are a fan of the original, you should definitely watch this, as it'll just make you love the chemistry, charming songs, and graceful story arc all the more. I could go on and on, but I didn't want to mention the gross inferiority to its predecessor since there are apparently so many cranks out there who seem to feel that such a comparison is unfair.
