Goal

 

The Goal of this sub-committee is to recommend standards, and establish guidelines & best practices to import  finished goods for retail consumption into the USA and facilitate complete, accurate & consistent global supply chain visibility from origin to destination.

  • Global Supply Chain Manager or Director

Current Key Initiatives

 

1.       Complete updates to Business Implementation Guidelines, (BIG)  and submit to the board for approval.

2.       Complete 856 B.I.G. document jointly with CTM & DC Bypass sub committees.

3.       Complete process maps for 315, 300,301, 304, 850, & 851 submit to the board for approval.

4.       Highlight model with recommended and completed B.I.G. & process maps.

5.       Develop best practices around processes

6.       In depth transactional review of architecture.

7.       Develop ongoing educational program

8.       Focus on impact on sustainability

 

 

Key drivers

 

Involving experienced and informed individuals in the completion of the BIG’s ,  process maps and identifying value to goal of virtual supply chain management.

 

We will collaborate with GS1 Brussels on the development of global guidelines/standards and with VICS Asia Pacific Companies.
