Please don't confuse our organization with GS1 US VICS EDI, another worthy group to which you may already belong. Our organization addresses high-level, strategic standards requirements. While VICS EDI handles the maintenance and fine tuning of VICS EDI standards, it is a separate organization administered by GS1 US, which is also the Secretariat for VICS. VICS' business process initiatives leverage the GS1 System of technology and business standards.
